Guest Book

I don't want a traditional guest book. They never get filled up and and you never really look at them. So I have come up with a few different ideas. Jason and I have decided to let the guest decide! So take the poll and let us know what you think.

Idea one: Quilt

Idea Two: Signed Framed Picture

Idea Three: Signed & Framed Records

Bridal Party

Bride- Felicia
Groom- Jason

Maid of Honor- Morgan
Bridesmaids- Rachel, Amanda, Jennifer, & Penny

I have known my bridesmaid since MS and HS, from 8-10 years. They are my besties (they don't really qualify as friends, they are sisters!)

Bestman- Ryan (Jason's brother)
Groomsmen- Jason has a few in mind, but hasn't asked yet.

Flower Girl- Leah (Jason's niece)

My grandpa is giving me away!

Something's (New, Old, Barrowed, Blue, and a Sixpence in the Shoe)

Something new is... hopefully a genuine pearl necklace & earring set as our 4 yr anniversary gift from Jason. If not then probably the backup jewelry.

Something old is... I gotta work on this more maybe something from my grandma or something that was my great grandmas.

Something barrowed is... gonna be up to a bridesmaid I think, so if you are reading this then start thinking of ideas. Preferably something small that won't be a burden to be carried around all day. Maybe something to attached to my bouquet. Like a charm or something cute.

Something blue is... I am going to stamp I DO on the bottom of my shoes. I love this idea!

Sixpence in the shoe... I have it! A genuine sixpence, my grandpa is holding onto it for me. :)

Centerpieces

I am going to try it out before I commit to it. I am thinking a circular mirror and on top probably three wine glasses, possibly all different and sizes and shapes. In the wine glasses a tealight with a ribbon around it. Possibly a pillar candle too. On the mirror some sand and shells to give it a beachy look. I like the bottom two the best. Jason also like the fish bowl. Some people will also be able to take them home after the reception. :)

Venue

We are thinking of the band shell on Daytona Beach. It is literally right on the beach. It has lots of space for everything. It is very reasonable on prices. We are going to rent tents. I have been tossing around the idea of a clear tent so the sky can be seen, and right off the beach :). But I was thinking it might be too hot before hand. If not clear then black to keep within our colors (black and silver). The venue hosts concerts and a bunch of events every year, and I think it holds about 4,000 sitting and a record crowd of 25,000.

Invitations

We haven't completely decided on the invitations yet. I will upload real pictures once we have it completely figure it out. We know for sure that we will be using vellum and printing with black ink. I think it will probably be white cardstock, silver/shimmery vellum, and silver and black ribbon to tie it together. A mixture of the first three. The forth one is another one we like and are coinsidering.
Save the dates are going to be a business card size magnets. They will have an engagment photo of us, and a date on it. :)

About Us!

I will try and update as frequently as I can. We are having a beach wedding on 5-25-12! I will include pictures that I like to give you ideas as to what everything will hopefully be like or similar to. :) I hope to have this in order so you can see from start to finish bottom to top (the newest stuff will be on the top). I am gonna go through and give a little info about each of us. As some people viewing this may be people I or Jason don't know that well, and this will give you a better idea who we are.

Felicia

I am currently taking addresses to get ahead of the game since there will probably be about 200 guests. I know a LOT! I have a huge family, there is 89 people minimum and I probably missed counted just in my family. My great grandmother had 10 kids, each one of those kids had 4-5 of their own, and almost each of their kids (my moms generation) have 2-4. That is just immediate family, this doesn't count adopted family or close family friends.

I am originally born and raised in FL. I obviously come from a big family, completely crazy and chaotic sometimes, I absolutely love it! I am a music education major, I have been playing saxophone for about 12 years now. I am hoping to start school back this August. I absolutely love school and teaching. I also give private lessons on the side (the best job EVER!) I love the color pink, silly patterns, sewing, scrapbooking. I over analyze like crazy, I love sleep, and the beach is my favorite place. It makes it the perfect place to get married!

Jason

He was born and raised in VT. He graduated from Full Sail University from recording arts. He officially has his own room for his studio in our newest apartment. Jason plays guitar, bass, electric, records, played trumpet in High School, violin, mandolin, piano. He also enjoys outdoors, fishing, hunting, and target practice. A complete cookie monster:), favorite color is red, and loves the season change.

Us

We met while Jason was in school in Orlando. He moved up to TN, to do an internship at Blackbird Studio. I finish a semester of school and moved up to TN after him. We have been together for 3 years this May, and engaged 2 years this June. We are very excited, if you want to know anything please don't hesitate to message me. Our wedding colors are black and silver. We are doing engagement photos over a year, and having each season in our photos. It will also have the places that we a from FL, VT, & TN. We will start this May in TN for Spring, August in FL for Summer, October in TN for Fall, December in VT for Winter. I am so excited to do this I think it is unique and fun!
